Labor called to account on support for Adani mine

If may not be the Premier doing the numbers on job-creating royalties-raising projects. But the issue remains the same. Please let Adani get on with the job.

MACKAY business owners have been getting messages today urging them to call the Premier’s office and say whether they do or don’t support the Adani Carmichael Mine.

There now appears to be some doubt about who’s counting the numbers on support for coal jobs in our region.

But the issue remains the same.

We need the Queensland State Labor Government to stop moving the goal posts and let Adani get on with the job of building their mine, rail and port project.

I will be holding the Queensland Premier and the Labor Member for Mackay to account on this every day until the mine is approved.

If you do feel inclined to let the Premier know that you support this project you might want to give her a call. (07) 3719 7000.

Please make it clear to the Premier and the Member for Mackay who was elected to represent you, that this job-generating project needs to get the final tick of approval without any further delays.
